How long have you been in business?
Company owner, Kevin Brennan, started Brennan's Painting in 1980 after serving 5 years as a Crash Fireman in the US Air Force.
Is it really worth using the best paint?
We're learned over the years that it pays to only use high quality paints for the following reasons:
1. No brush or roller marks:
Quality paints go on more smoothly than cheaper brands. That means cleaner, more consistent appearance.
2. Better hiding:
Quality paints cover the old paint better, with less work and less retouching. This means you'll need to apply fewer coats.
3. Minimal splattering:
Presently we use Benjamin Moore Aura paints, the finest paints ever made by Benjamin Moore. We apply using high quality paint brushes, lamb skin paint rollers and professional sprayers.
4. Better resistance to dirt ( washability)
Better paints require less maintenance.
5. Better resistance to scrubbing:
High-end paints stand up to repeated washings.
6. Better resistance to burnishing:
With quality paints, you will notice fewer of those "shiny" marks from rubbing and cleaning. That ultimately means less maintenance.
Can I rely on you to mask things off so paint splatter doesn't get all over?
Absolutely. A great paint job begins with proper preparation. To a painter, this means using using plenty of canvas drops, rolls of plastic and painters tape to mask of anything not meant to be painted. We know that there's nothing more aggravating than having dry paint roller splatter all over everything. We also cover doors, windows, shrubs, plants, walkways, etc. when painting a building's exterior.
What other kinds of things do you paint or stain?
- Wooden decks
- Wooden fences
- Stairways ( wooden or wrought iron)
- Tile, metal roofs
